About Morris and Son

From its origins as a market trading business with limited wholesaling interests, Morris & Son has grown into one of the largest residual stock management specialists in the UK.

By the late 1980’s, we opened a separate wholesaling operation in West Yorkshire and, in early 1995, relocated to the current premises.

The business was incorporated in April 1999 and now trades from four purpose built warehouses, with a total floor space of 80,000 sq. ft, close to the West Yorkshire motorway network.

In June 2009 we expanded our business to include a wholesale outlet based in Manchester, which also incorporates a bulk bagging facility.

Also as of October 2009, we are proud to announce the acquisition of Stockley’s Sweets based in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire.

The name Stockley’s is synonymous with such wonderful names as Winter Nips, Herbal Candy, Cinder Toffee, Bronchial Lozenges, Sarsaparilla Sticks, Pear Drops, Barley Sugar, Caramels and their world famous Coltsfoot Rock.

Although our customer base is in the UK, we also serve customers in Spain, Ireland, France, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Germany and Denmark, amongst others. Our customers vary from market traders and convenience stores to supermarket chains and wholesalers.
